How long does an MOT take at Autotest?
An MOT usually takes between 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the vehicle. If repairs are needed, we will always contact you before carrying out any additional work.
What happens if my vehicle fails the MOT?
If your car fails its MOT, we will provide a detailed failure report. Our technicians can carry out the necessary repairs and arrange a free retest once the work is completed.
Can I drive my car if the MOT has expired?
You can only drive without a valid MOT if you are going to a pre-booked MOT test or to have repairs carried out. Driving without an MOT at other times is illegal and can result in fines.
